According to theUS defense official,The federal government plans to deploy 50 mega vaccination sites, each capable of administering 6,000 doses per day, in addition to 50 large vaccination sites delivering 3,000 doses per day,
The first vaccination site provided by the Federal Emergency Management Agency is expected to be operational by mid-next month and will expand as vaccine production ramps up in the coming months, a senior White House official told CBS News.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency has deployed 200 of its own personnel to help at vaccination centers in nine states, while the US Coast Guard has deployed 18 reservists and is identifying 1,000 more for future missions./.
