Participating in this year's contest, the whole province has 204 projects in 15 fields by 372 authors, including 76 projects by junior high school students and 128 projects by high school students. After 2 days of the contest, according to the Organizing Committee's assessment, most of the projects demonstrate new and quite suitable scientific ideas; the authors have research skills, proposing quite complete solutions; many projects are practical, highly feasible, demonstrating passion for scientific research, applying learned knowledge into practice and creating a useful playground for junior high school and high school students in the whole province.

In addition, most of the projects have raised research questions, research problems and have research content and methods, implemented research processes suitable for high school students and students have presented scientific reports according to the requirements of a scientific work.

Many scientific topics and student presentations focused on applying knowledge learned in class and practical knowledge that occurs in life into scientific research.

Besides the advantages, there are still some authors who have chosen inappropriate ideas: either too old for their age, or lacking the time and conditions to carry them out.

Some projects still lack evidence for the scientific nature, objectivity and feasibility of the topic such as: the scientific nature of the research plan; the diary is not really complete, the time of investigation and survey is not specific; the proposed solution is not close to reality; the determination of the competition field is not appropriate.

Among the projects, there are many projects that were highly appreciated by the judges such as the project "Educational Environment School Gate Magic Eye" by two authors Le The Anh and Nguyen Ho An Minh, students of Dang Thai Mai Secondary School, Vinh City; Project "Water condensation system using semiconductor technology" by two authors Ho Manh Thang, student of Le Viet Thuat High School and Nguyen Nhan Nhat Minh, student of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted. These are the projects selected by the organizing committee to participate in the National Science and Technology Competition held in March 2023 in Quang Ninh.

After this competition, the Department's leaders requested that schools and students continue to invest and complete projects to represent Nghe An students in participating in the National competition and achieving high results.

In order for the contest to continue to spread, in the coming time, specialized departments and schools need to accompany and be responsible in consulting, supporting and directing to encourage students to enthusiastically research science, find and discover many topics that have practical meaning in life. On that basis, promote the ability to be autonomous, self-study, problem-solving as well as specific abilities in learning such as calculation, science...

At the end of the contest, out of 204 registered projects, the Organizing Committee awarded 12 First prizes, 33 Second prizes, 46 Third prizes, and 49 Fourth prizes.
