13 qualified military schools will be assigned to train civilians from 2025, after about 6-7 years of stopping recruitment, with 3,200 quotas.
Schools eligible to be assigned to train the civilian system from 2025 include: Academy of Politics, Academy of Logistics, Academy of Military Engineering, Academy of Military Medicine, Academy of Military Science, School of Information Officers, University of Military Culture and Arts, College of Logistics 1 and 2, College of National Defense Industry, Institute of Traditional Military Medicine, Institute of Military History, Institute of Clinical Medical Sciences 108, School of Military Engineering Officers, Institute of Military Science and Technology.
According to the report of the General Staff, these schools and institutes have full conditions, potential and strengths in training civil systems for dual-use industries, serving the socio-economic development of the country.
Detailed targets for the civilian system in 13 military schools in 2025 are as follows (From 2026, based on the actual situation, the General Staff will assign targets and determine training majors for each educational institution):

Previously, military schools had temporarily stopped enrolling students in the civilian system according to Resolution 19 of the 12th Party Central Committee Conference. At that time, military schools gradually reduced and completely stopped enrolling students in the civilian system.
This is to implement the policy of innovation and reorganization of military units, overcoming the situation where there are civilian training schools many times larger than military training schools, but the teaching staff is still from the military.
