16 collectives and individuals in the Culture and Sports sector were commended for administrative reform implementation.

On the morning of June 4, the Department of Culture and Sports held a Conference to summarize the implementation of the State Administrative Reform Program for the period 2011 - 2020 and directions and tasks for the period 2021 - 2030.

Implementing the State Administrative Reform Program for the period 2011 - 2020, the Department of Culture and Sports has achieved results in the following areas: Institutional reform; administrative procedure reform and implementation of one-stop and inter-connected one-stop mechanisms; administrative apparatus reform; building and improving the quality of civil servants and public employees; public administration reform...

Notably, the Department has implemented the one-stop administrative procedure settlement mechanism, selected cadres and civil servants with good moral qualities, capacity and qualifications to work at the One-stop Department, invested in equipment, and applied information technology in the settlement of administrative procedures. Thanks to that, 100% of administrative procedures were received and results were returned within the prescribed time, reducing transaction costs for organizations and citizens.

At the same time, develop projects to "Arrange, organize the apparatus, streamline the payroll and restructure the team of civil servants and public employees to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of operations in the period 2018 - 2021 and the following years".

On that basis, build projects to merge a number of agencies and units such as merging the Ethnic Song and Dance Troupe with the Center for Preservation and Promotion of Nghe An Folk Heritage; merging the Sports Competition and Service Center with the Sports Training and Coaching Center...

Building, applying and maintaining the quality management system according to ISO 9001:2008 standard has helped the work to be in order, closely following the general goals of the agency and the specific goals of each department, working with a plan and checking the implementation of the plan through reports on the implementation of the set goals...

In the period of 2021 - 2030, the Department of Culture and Sports continues to carry out administrative reform tasks in all areas. Continuously supplement and perfect internal regulations and rules; promote review and propose solutions to simplify administrative procedures; receive documents and return results via public postal services.

Develop a plan for training and fostering civil servants and public employees with the goal of training high-quality human resources; enhance the responsibility of units in implementing financial autonomy to ensure good completion of tasks, effective use of financial resources, and improvement of workers' lives...

At the Conference, delegates gave their opinions focusing on the following issues: Issuing legal documents on heritage management; solutions to reform administrative procedures; improving the efficiency of administrative units; and raising awareness of compliance with discipline.

On this occasion, 6 collectives and 10 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Director of the Department of Culture and Sports for their good achievements in implementing the State Administrative Reform Program for the period 2011 - 2020.
