19 outstanding works won the 2015 East Sea Research Award

In Hanoi, the East Sea Research Support Fund recently held the "East Sea Research Award 2015" award ceremony.

The Organizing Committee has selected and awarded the "East Sea Research Award 2015" to 19 best works, research articles and research projects.

Among them, 5 works were awarded the "Journalism on the East Sea" prize (worth 20 million VND/prize), 12 research articles were awarded the "Research Article on the East Sea" prize (3 research articles won the special excellent prize worth 20 million VND/prize; 9 research articles won the excellent prize worth 15 million VND/prize) and 2 research works were awarded the "Research Project on the East Sea" prize (worth 50 million VND/prize).

The 2015 East Sea Research Award was launched by the East Sea Research Support Fund to support research and writing on the East Sea by domestic and foreign authors and groups of authors.

The Fund received a total of 116 entries from more than 100 authors from agencies, organizations, schools, research institutes, and press agencies at home and abroad, such as the UK, US, Canada, the Netherlands, and Brunei.

In the field of journalism alone, the Fund received 82 works from press agencies with participating forms such as print, television and radio.

The 2015 East Sea Research Awards include the “Research Paper on the East Sea” award for graduate students, students, and trainees studying at universities, colleges, and research institutes at home and abroad who have research papers on the East Sea in the following categories: research topics, graduation theses, etc.; the “Press on the East Sea” award for reporters, journalists, and commentators who have articles on the East Sea; and the “Research Works on the East Sea” award for in-depth researchers on the East Sea who are scholars and researchers at home and abroad./.
