2 Nghe An teachers were honored at the program 'Sharing with teachers'
These are teachers working in border communes and particularly difficult areas. Over the years, with their love for their profession and their students, they have stayed in their villages to teach and bring knowledge to students in the highlands.
The Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union has just announced a list of 80 outstanding teachers participating in the program "Sharing with teachers" in 2025.
Previously, the Organizing Committee received 263 nominations from 25 units including the Vietnam Youth Union of provinces and cities, and the Border Guard. Of these, 201 profiles were eligible for selection.

This is a symbolic activity, a profound humanitarian gesture to encourage and share with teachers who are working day and night in mountainous, border, island and especially difficult areas as well as special education teachers, teachers of reform schools and officers and soldiers in green uniforms who persistently carry the burden of education on the Fatherland's borders.

In this list, Nghe An is honored to have 2 outstanding teachers being recognized. That is teacher Lau Y Pay (born in 1986) - a teacher working at Huoi Moi, Tri Le Kindergarten - one of the schools in remote, border areas, areas with especially difficult socio-economic conditions, where 100% of the Hmong ethnic group lives.
With more than 12 years of experience in the profession, she has received many Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Education and Training, the Chairman of the District People's Committee, and is a grassroots emulation fighter. In the 2022-2023 school year, she is one of 200 outstanding teachers nationwide to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Education and Training. She also participated in the meeting of outstanding teachers organized by the Government.
In addition to her professional duties, she also has many contributions to society and was elected as a delegate to the People's Council of Que Phong district.

The second person is teacher Pham Thi Mai Quyen (born in 1977), currently working at Dong Van Primary School (Thong Thu commune). As a teacher from the lowlands who came to live in the village, teacher Mai Quyen always strives and strives, is not only an excellent teacher of the province, but also has received many certificates of merit from the district and the industry. She herself is also an energetic, active teacher, a pioneer in all movements. During many years of working as a homeroom teacher, she has had many students admitted to the district's Ethnic Minority Secondary School, and is trusted and entrusted by parents and students.
In addition to outstanding teachers, the program also honored Border Guard officers and soldiers (teachers in green uniforms) who participated in the work of eliminating illiteracy and teaching children and people in border areas and military areas.
In Nghe An, two outstanding figures of the Provincial Border Guard were commended, namely Lieutenant Colonel Cu Ba Po - Head of the Mass Mobilization Team - My Ly Border Guard Station and Captain Nguyen Kim Trong - Head of the Mass Mobilization Team - Tam Hop Border Guard Station.
