200kg of pork and beef sold on the sidewalk

(Baonghean.vn) - During the inspection, the team discovered that many households were selling pork, buffalo, and beef on the sidewalks at several markets such as Hung Loc, Ben Thuy, Hung Dung... with a weight of nearly 200kg that had not been quarantined.

On the morning of January 29, 2016, the Vinh City Interdisciplinary Inspection Team inspected animal product trading activities at markets in the city.

Nearly 200kg of meat sold on the sidewalk was confiscated because it was not quarantined according to regulations.

On the sidewalks at some markets such as Hung Loc, Ben Thuy, Hung Dung... the group discovered a quantity of buffalo, beef, and pork meat without quarantine certificates, of unknown origin, and suspected to be diseased meat.

The interdisciplinary inspection team has drawn up a record and seized all the meat for handling according to regulations.
