On February 23, Tan Phuoc District Police (Tien Giang) arrested Ho Thanh Tuan (20 years old) and Nguyen Van Ben (29 years old, both from Chau Thanh, Tien Giang) to investigate the act of disturbing public order.
A month ago, Ben's friend came to drink at the bar of Mr. Tran Thanh Tuan (38 years old). The next evening, Ben's group of 20 masked men, riding motorbikes with machetes and iron pipes, stormed into the restaurant.They chased and slashed Mr. Tuan and his staff. They threatened to chase away the customers, forcing the restaurant owner to go into the house and defend himself, using petrol bombs to fight back.
