27 programs and projects to implement the Resolution of the District Party Congress, Term XXX

To implement the Resolution into life, after the District Party Congress, the District Party Committee focused on disseminating the Congress Resolution to all cadres, party members and the masses through Party committees at all levels and the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and organizations in the political system. The District Party Committee also developed and promulgated the Working Regulations of the Standing Committee, the Standing Committee, and the Executive Committee for the entire term, assigning individuals to be in charge of sectors, fields and areas.

The district has also stepped up direction in developing an action program to implement the Resolution of the District Party Congress, term XXX, 2015-2020, including 8 economic development programs and projects; 4 projects in the cultural and social fields; 15 programs, projects and tasks on Party building and the political system, and strengthening national defense and security.

The district has also clearly identified five key programs, which are to build the district to meet new rural standards; build Dien Chau district to be recognized as a type IV urban area; attract investment, develop industry, small-scale industry and craft villages; apply science and technology to promote the development of agriculture, forestry and fishery associated with processing and building product brands; reform administration, improve the quality of human resources to meet development requirements in the new period.

The 2015 winter vegetable crop area of ​​Dien Chau district increased compared to last year.

Along with that work, the District Party Committee has also focused on directing the implementation of regular political tasks, focusing on urging the drastic construction of new rural areas and directing the production of the 2015 winter crop. Up to this point, 5 more communes have completed 19/19 criteria, bringing the total number of communes to 10 units/38 communes.

Regarding winter crop production in 2015, Dien Chau became a typical unit that did well in the province with a total area of ​​over 6,000 hectares, of which winter corn was 2,300 hectares and corn on two-rice land was 700 hectares (an increase of 360 hectares compared to the winter crop in 2014); 500 winter peanuts. Regarding vegetables, in addition to increasing the total area by 1,500 hectares (an increase of 300 hectares compared to last year), the district also directed the increase in the area of ​​valuable crops with high economic efficiency.
