3 primary school students ate poison ivy, 1 died after the first day of school
(Baonghean.vn) - After the first day of the new school year, 3 elementary school students ate poison ivy, one of them died.
According to information from the Tham Hon Village Management Board (Na Ngoi Commune - Ky Son), at around 5:00 p.m. on September 6, family members discovered three third-grade students from a primary school in the village committing suicide by eating poison ivy. The three students include: Xong Ba D., Xong Ba X. and Xong Ba R., all born in 2009.

After discovering the incident, the family took the children to the infirmary of the 4th National Defense Economic Group for emergency treatment. However, due to severe poisoning, Xong Ba D. died 30 minutes later. By this morning (September 7), the two children Xong Ba X. and Xong Ba R. were out of danger.
