3 Vietnamese sailors detained in New Zealand returned home
Vietnamese crew members working on a South Korean fishing vessel detained in New Zealand have been assisted and are on their way home.

Embassy of Vietnam in New Zealandworked with the country's Immigration Department when it received news of theThree Vietnamese crew members on a South Korean fishing boat were arrested on November 29, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement today.
These three people areTran Ngoc Son, born in 1975, Pham The Manh, born in 1991 and Nguyen Van Duc, born in 1992.They were determined not to have violated the law and were in normal health.
Afterwards, the Vietnamese representative agency worked with the New Zealand Immigration Department to arrange procedures and air tickets for the three crew members to return to Vietnam.
