On the occasion of the 129th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2019), on the afternoon of May 18, Vinh City Youth Union organized the opening ceremony of the 5th Youth Union Football Tournament for officials, civil servants, and laborers of Vinh City.

This is an annual activity organized by the Vinh City Youth Union Standing Committee every year with the goal of improving the spiritual life of cadres, civil servants, employees and workers.

From there, create a healthy and useful playground for cadres, union members and young people to practice physical exercise and improve their health. At the same time, exchange solidarity between units, arouse cultural and artistic movements, physical education and sports in the city.

Participating in this tournament are 16 teams with nearly 300 athletes who are enthusiastic union officials with the grassroots sports movement. They promise to bring beautiful football to the tournament.

The matches will take place in the late afternoon after office hours. The tournament will take place from May 18 to May 27 at Hadico Vinh Tan football field.

After the opening ceremony, the opening matches took place between the Transport Hospital team and the Traditional Medicine Hospital, the Maternity and Pediatrics Hospital and the International Hospital.
