650 students of the Armed Police College distribute firebreaks

(Baonghean.vn) - On June 6, in the acacia and pine forest area in Nhan Son commune (Do Luong), 650 students of the Armed Police College laid out firebreaks to help people.

Despite the hot weather, having to travel over 3km to reach the firebreak distribution point, with the spirit of helping the people, the students volunteered to clear the ground and vegetation in dangerous areas; the total length of the firebreak distributed was 1.5km long and 6m wide.

In addition to helping the people of Nhan Son commune build firebreaks, the students helped people harvest hundreds of hectares of rice; built 180m of rural roads; donated 1 computer to the commune health station, 75 gifts to policy families, families with especially difficult circumstances, and children who overcame difficulties to study well.
