8 key contents in propaganda work in October 2021

On the morning of September 29, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department held the Provincial Party Committee's Reporters Conference for October 2021 online, connecting with the Central Propaganda Department. At the conference, the leaders of the Navy Command informed the topic "Ho Chi Minh Trail at sea - The embodiment of the will and aspiration for peace and national reunification". Accordingly, Ho Chi Minh Trail at sea is the name of the military transport route secretly implemented by the Vietnam People's Navy and the Liberation Army of South Vietnam in the East Sea, established on October 23, 1961. This is the route to transport weapons from North Vietnam to support the Liberation Army of South Vietnam. During the resistance war against the US, this route was a strategic innovation of the Party on people's war to contribute greatly to the Great Victory of Spring 1975.

The conference also listened to the topic: "Recent situation in the East Sea and the current task of fighting to protect sovereignty over seas and islands". The topic emphasized the inheritance and development of the consciousness of sovereignty over seas and islands of our ancestors in the history of building and defending the country, as well as the correct awareness of the position, role and special importance of seas and islands in the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland, the Party and the State today.

Despite the complicated developments in the world and the region, under the leadership of the Party and the management of the State, our army and people have actively deployed activities to protect national sovereignty and interests at sea. The national defense posture and people's security at sea and on islands have been constantly consolidated; the forces managing and protecting the sea and on islands have developed increasingly strongly. In particular, the Vietnam People's Navy has grown remarkably strong, capable of being the core to protect the sovereignty of the sea and on islands of the Fatherland.

Orienting propaganda work in October 2021, comrade Phan Xuan Thuy - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department emphasized many key contents. Specifically, the team of reporters needs to continue to deeply inform the content and significance of the Ho Chi Minh Sea Trail associated with the 60th anniversary of the route's establishment (October 23, 1961 - October 23, 2021).

In addition, closely follow the important contents of the 4th Central Conference of the 13th tenure related to Party building and socio-economic work. Focus on emphasizing the content of the meeting program, the results and significance of the meeting, and the issues discussed at the conference.

Regarding foreign affairs, focus on disseminating the foreign affairs work of the Party and State leaders in recent times. Activities of international friends to help Vietnam in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic. At the same time, information on foreign affairs achievements is to highlight the role and prestige of Vietnam in the international arena.

The Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department emphasized that the propaganda work on Conclusion No. 14-KL/TW of the Politburo on "The policy of encouraging and protecting dynamic and creative cadres for the common good" aims to build a team of cadres with enough heart and capacity to meet the needs in the new situation. And Regulation No. 32-QD/TW dated September 16, 2021 of the Politburo on the functions, tasks, powers, working regime, and working relations of the Central Steering Committee on preventing and combating corruption and negativity.

In the new normal state established after controlling the Covid-19 epidemic, it is necessary to continue to propagate epidemic prevention and control work in the new situation, avoid negligence, subjectivity and measures for socio-economic development in the coming time.

Finally, it is necessary to convey meaningful messages related to anniversaries in the month such as the 110th birthday of comrade Le Duc Tho (October 10, 1911 - October 10, 2021); anniversaries of ministries, sectors and branches such as: 67 years of the liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2021), 91 years of the founding of the Vietnam Farmers' Association (October 14, 1930 - October 14, 2021), 65 years of the tradition of the Vietnam Youth Union (October 15, 1956 - October 15, 2021)...

Orienting propaganda work in the coming time, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Tran Quoc Khanh requested the team of reporters and propagandists to focus on the following contents:

1. Results of implementing socio-economic, national defense and security tasks, Party building work in the third quarter and key tasks in the fourth quarter of the whole province as well as the country.

2. Propaganda on Covid-19 prevention and control and the dual goal of both fighting the epidemic and ensuring economic development and social security.

3. Propagating, raising awareness, skills and measures to prevent and combat natural disasters and floods to all classes of people. Along with that is the task of implementing the 2021-2022 winter-spring crop.

4. Results after 1 year of implementing the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels and the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

5. Propaganda on the construction of Vinh Hang Ecological Cemetery Park in Hung Nguyen district.

6. Foreign affairs propaganda: Propaganda of some foreign affairs activities including: Visits and working trips of National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue in Europe, focusing on the Conference of National Assembly Chairmen held in Austria; the Greater Mekong Sub-region Cooperation Summit; the Japanese Minister of Defense's official visit to Vietnam; President Nguyen Xuan Phuc's attendance at the opening of the high-level general discussion of the United Nations General Assembly and meetings with senior leaders of countries...
