800 Dien Chau residents received free medical examination and medicine

(Baonghean.vn) - On November 5-6, the Dien Chau Red Cross Society coordinated with the district's Young Doctors Club to organize free medical examinations and provide medicine for the elderly and people in difficult circumstances in 8 communes in the district.

Elderly people in Dien Minh commune are examined and given free medicine.

16 volunteers, doctors and nurses from Dien Chau General Hospital, examined, provided health consultation and provided free medicine to more than 800 elderly and disadvantaged people in 8 communes: Dien Thang, Dien Minh, Dien Binh, Dien Cat, Dien Thai, Dien Nguyen, Dien Hanh, Dien Quang.

The total cost was over 40 million VND, taken from the district Red Cross fund. Serious cases were consulted and referred to timely treatment by doctors. This is an annual activity of the Red Cross and the Dien Chau Young Doctors Club to help people have better health care conditions.
