9 excellent projects entered the final round of the Rural Youth Startup Ideas Competition

On the afternoon of July 29, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee organized the Final Round of the "3rd Rural Youth Creative Startup Ideas Contest". Faced with the increasingly widespread need for self-employment and career development among union members and young people, the contest "Creative startup ideas for rural youth" organized by Nghe An Provincial Youth Union aims to create a favorable environment to promote and support young people in the process of realizing their startup ideas and projects.

Taking place since April 2019, this is the third time the contest has been held with the participation of thousands of contestants from 20 districts and towns across the province. Ideas and production and business projects are built on the following fields: cultivation, livestock, aquaculture, forestry, salt industry, preservation and processing industry, craft villages, agricultural equipment, and agricultural services.

After 2 rounds of competition including: finding ideas, startup projects and building startup projects, the 9 best projects entered the final round.

In the Final round, the contestants will present their projects to the jury and answer questions from the members of this jury.

The Organizing Committee will summarize and score based on the following criteria: production and business plan (25 points); significance of ideas and projects (15 points); creativity (15 points); feasibility (25 points) and idea presentation (20 points).

The competition's prize structure includes 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes and 4 Consolation Prizes. The ideas that win First, Second and Third Prizes will be supported with legal guidance, technology, branding and product consumption connections in the first year of implementation.

List of 9 projects that have reached the final round of the "3rd Rural Youth Creative Startup Ideas Competition":

1. Applying technology to the production and processing of oyster mushrooms, straw mushrooms, and cordyceps mushrooms (Candidate Cao Minh Long).

2. Raising herbal chickens combined with clean vegetable and fruit production and experiential tourism (candidate Le Van Duong).

3. Production and trade of organic agricultural products and combination of agricultural eco-tourism and community development on Phu Quy land (Contestant group: Bui Thi Bich Hang, Nguyen Van Thuyen).

4. Cage fish farming associated with output product consumption for fish farming households in Hua Na Hydropower Reservoir (Contestant group: Lang Van Sang, Sam Thi Ngan, Lang Van Lien).

5. Happy Farm Educational Farm (Contestant group: Nguyen Dinh Ngoc, Nguyen Thuy Linh).

6. Building a service chain model for developing Hoa Lua agricultural production applying 4.0 technology (Contestant group: Ho Thi Thuy Duyen, Ho Thi Nhung, Kieu Dinh Tuan).

7. Developing free-range chickens to create livelihoods for people with disabilities (Candidate Hoang Kim Vi).

8. Production of bamboo lamps for export (Candidate Truong Van Hung).

9. Production, processing and tourism of agricultural chemicals in a purely natural direction (Candidate Tran Trong Phi).
