“For the Poor” Fund – Wings for the Future
The “For the Poor” Fund is the most important resource, clearly demonstrating the tradition of solidarity and the spirit of “mutual love and support” of our nation. Every year, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province has issued a Plan to mobilize the “For the Poor” Fund, guiding localities to deploy and implement it with many creative, practical and effective ways, suitable to the practical conditions of each locality.

Immediately after the two-level government came into operation, inheriting the achieved results, the Fatherland Front Committees of localities continued to promote their core role, mobilize the strength of the great solidarity bloc, and arouse love and compassion in the community. From the initial 2 breeding goats, with technical advice and disease prevention from veterinary staff and her own diligence, Mrs. Loan now has a herd of 10 goats. “Tet For The Poor” -favorite meeting placeUhthank you
One of the activities that left a strong impression in the movement "Joining hands for the poor" is the program "Tet for the poor" organized by the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province on the occasion of the traditional New Year of the nation. Since 2013, with the core role, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province has coordinated with Nghe An Radio and Television Station, now Nghe An Newspaper and Radio and Television, to successfully deploy and organize the program, becoming a loving meeting place every time Tet comes and Spring comes.

With special meaning, the program “Tet for the poor” has lit the warm fire of humanity on the days approaching the new year, bringing faith and hope to the poor in the good things in life. The companionship and cooperation of the Front, philanthropists and businesses have contributed to helping the poor “leave no one behind”.
From 2024, the program “Tet for the Poor” was renamed “Nghia Tinh Dong Lam”. The program spreads kind hearts and shares with the poor every Tet holiday. With a longer and more distant goal, the program contributes to supporting and helping poor children go to school, the sick and unfortunate to be cared for and treated, the poor to have decent homes and sustainable livelihoods, etc.

“We hope that, with the help of the community in the program “Tet for the poor” and now “Nghia tinh dong Lam”, the poor and people in difficult circumstances will further promote their will to be self-reliant, self-reliant, take care of their work, thereby rising up to escape poverty sustainably” - Mr. Le Van Toan - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tan Ky commune shared.

As of July 2025, the old communes of Anh Son district and Anh Son commune have now completed 100% of the houses, 1 year earlier than the plan".

Implementing the movement, localities in the province from the lowlands to the mountains have mobilized maximum resources, focusing on eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, bringing safe and stable housing to the poor and people in difficult circumstances.
For Ms. Ngan Thi Ha, in Cu Mon hamlet, Quy Hop commune, having a house that is closed above and strong below not only improves the family's living conditions but also inspires confidence and motivation to rise up. Ms. Ha said with emotion: "Before, when it rained, the house leaked, the most feared thing was strong winds blowing the roof off and collapsing walls. I raised two children by myself, my son passed away, my daughter-in-law also left, I thought the three of us would stay single for the rest of our lives. Now that the government has supported me to build a new house, I am very happy. Without everyone's help, I don't know when I would have a decent house like now."
