9X used a taxi to transport over 80 kg of illegal fireworks to Vietnam
Stopping the taxi for inspection, the authorities discovered 86 kg of illegal fireworks from China being sold domestically.
Previously, on January 22, the Tra Linh Border Guard Station coordinated with the Tra Linh Border Customs Sub-Department and the Tra Linh District Police on duty at Tong Moong Hamlet, Hung Quoc Town, Tra Linh District to discover a taxi with license plate 20A-167.99 with suspicious signs and conducted an inspection. Here, the working group discovered 86 kg of fireworks smuggled from China on the vehicle.

Through investigation, the subjects including Nguyen Van Tan (22 years old, residing in Thach Thanh district, Thanh Hoa); Nguyen Xuan Mai (21 years old), and Nguyen Van Hoan, both residing in Pho Yen district, Thai Nguyen province, confessed that the above fireworks were smuggled from China to Thai Nguyen for consumption.
The working group has drawn up a record and completed the file to transfer to the Investigation Police Agency - Tra Linh District Police for further investigation.
Regarding the situation of firecracker smuggling at the Cao Bang border, the time near Lunar New Year is always an occasion with many complicated developments.
