There are only about ten days left before Coach Park Hang-seo and his team will depart for the AFC U23 Championship. However, up to now, the haunting injury situation has not ended for Vietnam U23.

During the first training period before the M-150 Cup, U23 Vietnam was no different from a miniature “hospital”. Due to injuries, a series of expected stars such as Tuan Anh, Dong Trieu, Minh Vuong, and most recently Van Long had to say goodbye to the team.

Meanwhile, other veteran faces such as Minh Long, center back Tien Dung, Duy Manh and A Hoang are also facing different problems, and are racing against time to hope to recover in time to attend the finals. Up to now, in coach Park Hang-seo's squad, there are 2 injured players: defender A Hoang and goalkeeper Minh Long.

According to the doctors, the injuries of this duo are not too serious, they just need to practice recovery in the next few days to be able to return. But whether they can regain 100% of their form or not is still a question that makes the members of the coaching staff of U23 Vietnam feel very worried.

“At the moment, we just pray that no more players get injured. For the players who are recovering, I hope they will return soon to practice with the team before leaving for the AFC U23 Championship. This is a period when the team’s medical team is under a lot of pressure. I understand this, but I still urge them to find a way for my players to recover quickly,” said coach Park Hang-seo.
