Warm program 'Warm Spring at the Border' with resettled people in Thanh Chuong

(Baonghean.vn) - The program brings spring songs and meaningful gifts to people in the resettlement area of ​​Ngoc Lam commune - Thanh Chuong.

On the evening of January 16, at Ngoc Lam commune (Thanh Chuong district), Nghe An Provincial Police coordinated with Education and Times Newspaper to organize the program "Warm Spring at the Border".

Attending the program were Deputy Minister of Education and Training Ngo Thi Minh and Mr. Vu Minh Duc - Chairman of Vietnam Education Trade Union.

The program "Warm Spring in the Border" is an activity to welcome the New Year of the Ox with the desire to contribute to bringing a full Tet, a loving spring to people in border and difficult areas.

This year the program was held in Ngoc Lam commune, Thanh Chuong district, a border commune with many difficulties, with more than 90% of the people being ethnic minorities from Tuong Duong who moved here for resettlement.

Speaking at the program, Colonel Ho Van Tu - Deputy Director of Nghe An Provincial Police said that the art - charity program "Warm Spring at the Border" was carried out with all the heart and sincerity. From there, through songs and meaningful gifts, we will join hands, help, share the warmth of humanity and ease some of the coldness of the last days of the year.

At the same time, support a small gift to help students with difficult circumstances to excel in their studies, helping people celebrate the traditional New Year of the nation more warmly and happily.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee presented 400 gifts to people, students and disadvantaged households in the border areas, 100% of whom were ethnic minorities. Each gift was worth 1 million VND along with warm blankets, necessities... so that people could have a full and happy Tet.

Today, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Ngo Thi Minh; representatives of the Vietnam Education Trade Union and the Department of Education and Training jointly implemented the program "Wish for Children" at the Provincial Ethnic Minority High School and students of two primary schools in the resettlement area of ​​Ban Ve Hydropower Plant in Thanh Chuong District.

At this program, the Organizing Committee presented Kim Lam Primary School with 30 sets of student desks and chairs, supported the construction of a safe school gate for students and parents; and presented Huong Tien Primary School with a 55-inch TV and 8 anti-glare boards to serve the teaching of the new general education program. The total value of the gifts was over 100 million VND.

The "Wish for Children" program also presented 200 warm blankets, 40 scholarships to students and 4 sets of computers to the Provincial Boarding Ethnic High School and Nghe An Boarding Ethnic High School No. 2. The total value of the gifts was 90 million VND.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Education Trade Union also donated 20 million VND to the Nghe An Education sector to take care of the province's teachers and staff during Tet; donated a computer set to Nghe An Ethnic Boarding High School. In addition, Tet gifts were given to 7 teachers of 2 schools with difficult circumstances.
