Impressions of the folk dance competition among female cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers

On the evening of March 28, in Vinh city, Nghe An Civil Servants' Trade Union organized a folk dance competition for female cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers in 2023.

Attending and sharing the joy of the contest were comrades: Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province; Vo Van Dung - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; representatives of the Provincial Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies; Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation and affiliated grassroots trade unions.

The folk dance competition for female cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers is organized to promote the movement of physical exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho, thereby expanding and developing the model of folk dance practice, a gentle sport, suitable for all ages, contributing to bringing good health and cheerful spirit to women. At the same time, it contributes to spreading the image of trade union activities, promoting the role of women in building cultural life at grassroots trade unions.

This year's competition attracted the participation of 22 affiliated grassroots unions. Each unit competed with 1 or 2 performances. Each performance was no longer than 4 minutes.

Although this was the first time the competition was held, many units had invested carefully in both costumes and content, bringing an extremely exciting performance, leaving a strong impression on the large audience who came to enjoy and cheer.

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 first prize to the Provincial Social Insurance, 2nd prize to the Department of Culture and Sports. In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded 3 third prizes, 7 consolation prizes and 5 special prizes for the performances.
