UK arrests truck driver who drove into crowd in London
The suspect in the London truck crash will undergo a mental health assessment as part of due process.
British police said on the morning of June 19 that the driver of the van that plowed into a crowd in London was a 48-year-old man who had been arrested and taken to hospital.

The truck driver was surrounded by people in the area before being arrested by police. The suspect will undergo a mental health evaluation as part of due process.
A van plowed into worshippers leaving a mosque in London, killing at least one person on the spot on the night of June 18 (local time) and injuring several others.
The Muslim Council of Britain said it was likely an Islamophobic attack because the attack took place during the holy month of Ramadan when people were attending night prayers.
British Prime Minister Theresa May cited a police statement saying this was a terrorist attack and she will chair an emergency government meeting today (June 19).
