Currently in Anh Son, cement products are the main industrial products of the district with Song Lam 2 Cement Factory with a capacity of 600,000 tons/year of The Vissai Group and the factory of Thanh Son One Member Co., Ltd. with a designed capacity of 88,000 tons/year. Currently, the factories have been operating to produce products and create jobs for thousands of local workers.

Regarding burnt bricks: Burnt bricks are mainly produced in Cam Son and Hoi Son communes, by 2 participating enterprises, bringing to the market more than 15 million bricks/year. With the existing technological line, the capacity of 9 million bricks/year of Tay Nghe Tunnel Brick Joint Stock Company, Cam Son and 7 million bricks/year of 12/9 Petroleum Cement Joint Stock Company in Hoi Son, the products produced are not enough to meet the construction needs in the region.

Sugar products in the district are produced by Song Lam Sugar Joint Stock Company. Sugar output in the period of 2009 - 2015 increased quite high. Raw materials were ensured, production technology was innovated, and annual output reached 8,000 - 9,500 tons.

About tea: Industrial tea products are processed based on tea buds, grown in many communes throughout the district, namely Long Son, Phuc Son, Hoi Son, Hoa Son, Cam Son, Hung Son, Duc Son, Dinh Son, Tuong Son, Tam Son.

To meet the demand for tea processing, in addition to the three state-owned enterprises participating in production before 2010, there are now three more private enterprises participating in tea production and processing.

In recent years, industrial tea output has maintained a fairly high growth rate, 4,000-5,000 tons/year. Processed tea products are pre-processed by Anh Son enterprises and imported to Nghe An Tea Company and are being processed in a clean, branded direction. In addition, the area also has garment products and construction stones with reserves of over 3.3 million tons distributed in the communes.

Strive to increase the contribution of the industrial sector to the district's GDP structure; the proportion of the industrial sector in GDP is 40% in 2020 and 40-45% in 2030; the proportion of the industrial sector in non-agricultural production sectors is 50% in 2020 and 40-50% in 2030;

Annual industrial growth rate in the 2014 - 2020 period increased by 15%; in the 2020 - 2030 period it reached 12 - 15%,

Industrial production value (CN-TTCN-XD) by 2015 will reach 1,000 billion VND, by 2020 it will reach about 2,100 billion VND, by 2030 it will reach 7,000 billion VND.
