Britain sees Russia as one of Europe's main threats
(Baonghean.vn) - On September 29, British Prime Minister Theresa May said that Europe is facing increasing threats from terrorism, cybercrime, migration and "Russian aggression".
In a press release ahead of the EU Digital Summit in Estonia on September 29, Prime Minister May stressed: “From terrorism to cybercrime, illegal migration to Russian aggression, the threats we, as Europe, face are increasing in scale and complexity. Now, of all times, we need to stand together to confront them, because this is in all of our interests.”

The British leader said the UK plays a vital role in European security. She stressed: “With the largest defence budget in Europe, a far-reaching diplomatic network, world-class security, intelligence and law enforcement agencies, and a central position in NATO, the UK’s role in European defence has never been more important.”
The British Prime Minister affirmed that London will continue to actively participate in NATO activities. Mrs. May also affirmed that the UK's role in the security structure will not decrease after the country leaves the EU.
“We will continue to work with our NATO allies, our European neighbors and the EU, and support a future partnership of unprecedented depth that will ensure the security and stability of the continent for generations to come,” she said./.
