Aston Villa successfully loaned Marcus Rashford
Aston Villa have officially confirmed that Marcus Rashford has signed a contract to join the Villa Park team on loan until the end of the season.

Aston Villa have the option to buy Rashford outright for £40m in the summer, according to The Athletic. Following a sensational interview in December in which Rashford expressed his desire for a "new challenge", Man United have been actively looking for interested parties for the player.
Rashford, 27, has achieved his wish after a difficult time at Old Trafford under Ruben Amorim. Man United's official website also confirmed the deal, wishing Rashford good luck at his new club. He will become Aston Villa's third signing of the January transfer window, following Andres Garcia and Donyell Malen. Rashford is expected to soon be part of Unai Emery's squad after Jhon Duran moved to Al-Nassr.
According to The Athletic, Aston Villa will pay 75% of Rashford's £325,000-a-week wages, which could rise to 90% if he meets performance-related terms. Rashford is the second player to leave Man United on loan this month, after Antony. Rashford could make his Villa debut against Tottenham in the FA Cup on February 9, and is also keen to return to the Champions League, with Villa already in the last 16 after a dramatic group stage exit.
