Clinton's campaign had high hopes for the Kentucky vote after the former US Secretary of State lost in Indiana and West Virginia last week.

However, the race here was extremely fierce. Although still in the lead, Mrs. Clinton only received 46.8% of the votes, 0.5% higher than Mr. Sanders. Thus, the two Democratic candidates shared 25 delegates in this state.

In Oregon, the situation is reversed. Although the final results are not yet available, Mr. Sanders is leading 53% compared to Mrs. Clinton's 47%.

Thus, Mrs. Clinton won 2,265 delegate votes, about 95% of the 2,383 votes needed to become the official representative of the Democratic Party in the race to the White House.

Meanwhile, on the Republican side, Mr. Donald Trump easily won in Oregon with nearly 65% of the votes.

According to the plan, the Democratic primary elections in California, New Jersey and 4 other states will take place on June 7. These elections will be able to decide whether Mrs. Hillary Clinton will officially become the Democratic candidate to join the race for the White House./.
