Russia's Sputnik news agency reported that speaking at a campaign rally in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania last night, Hillary said that if she is elected as the next president of the United States after the election in November, she will strive to serve two terms until she is 77 years old.

Hillary also added that if she becomes president, by the end of her term, all American households will have access to clean and renewable energy.

Hillary is 69 years old by the November election. If elected, she will become the oldest president in US history. Previously, President Ronald Reagan took office in January 1980 at the age of 68. However, Hillary is still 5 years younger than her rival Bernie Sanders, who is running for the White House.

Hillary continues to dominate the Democratic race for the White House, despite being trailed by Sanders in recent primaries in many states. Through the primaries, Hillary currently has 1,274 delegates, compared to Sanders' 1,025. The gap in delegates between Hillary and Sanders is narrowing, but Hillary is still considered to have the upper hand due to the support of 469 "super delegates", while Sanders has only 31.

Still, it’s not unheard of for superdelegates to turn their backs on candidates they’d pledged to support. In 2008, many Clinton supporters switched to Barack Obama when it became clear she wouldn’t be the Democratic nominee for president.
