Three cars collided on Highway 1A, driver stuck in cabin

(Baonghean.vn) - The accident occurred at 11:30 a.m. on June 30, on National Highway 1A, at km 400 in Quynh Thach commune, Quynh Luu district (Nghe An), causing a truck driver to break his leg.

According to people who witnessed the accident, at the time, a passenger bus (license plate unknown) was traveling from Hanoi to Vinh. When it reached the Quynh Thach Hospital intersection, it discovered a road maintenance worker's car parked across the road, so it suddenly braked. Due to the surprise, a container truck rushed forward and crashed into the back of the passenger bus.

The truck's front was crushed after the strong collision.

At the same time, a truck with license plate 37C - 091.07 carrying bricks was running at high speed and crashed into the back of a container truck, causing the front of the truck to be crushed. The driver broke his leg and was stuck in the cabin of the truck. He had to be pried open by locals and taken to Quynh Luu District Hospital for emergency treatment.

Immediately after the accident, traffic police of Quynh Luu district were present to handle the incident.
