"What great news! Thank you!" - the diplomat wrote on Facebook.
Previously, Ukraine closed its airspaceon the transportation of Russian passengers and cargo, including transit, since October 25, 2015. The reason for the sanctions was the fact that Russian transport aircraft had flown to Crimea (Russia). In response, Russia introduced corresponding measures against Ukrainian aviation. According to the Federal Air Transport Agency, the ban will remain in effect until Kiev cancels its decision.
And now, on August 7, a plane of the Russian airline “Globus” flying from Bari to Moscow was allowed to enter Ukrainian airspace to avoid the storm. The flight in Ukrainian airspace lasted 26 minutes.
