The herbal remedy: 8g of perilla, 20g of honeysuckle flower, 16g of horse chestnut, 12g of Poria cocos, 40g of roasted black beans, 8g of licorice root, 12g of elephant's trunk plant, 12g of knotgrass. Add 750ml of water, decoct thoroughly until 250ml remains, and divide into 3 doses to be taken throughout the day.

Prescription: 20g honeysuckle flower, 12g forsythia, 12g scutellaria baicalensis, 12g acacia thorns (Gleditsia sinensis), 16g dandelion, 6g tangerine peel, 8g fritillaria bulb, 4g licorice. Boil in 750ml of water until reduced to 250ml. Divide into three doses and drink throughout the day.

Pus rupture stage

Use the method of removing necrotic tissue (removing necrotic tissue and promoting skin healing).

Prescription: Turmeric 16g, Angelica sinensis 12g, Astragalus membranaceus 16g, Rehmannia glutinosa 12g, Scrophularia ningpoensis 12g, Paeonia lactiflora 8g, Codonopsis pilosula 16g, Lonicera japonica 16g, Glycyrrhiza glabra 6g. Add 75ml of water and decoct until 250ml remains. Divide into 3 doses and drink throughout the day.

During the pus-rupturing phase, the area must be regularly cleaned and dried with sterile gauze to prevent reinfection and bacterial infection.
