Sentence for two best friends who refuse to reform
(Baonghean.vn) - Refusing to reform, the couple To and Nuyp (both residing in Block 3, Muong Xen town, Ky Son district) continued to commit crimes and were brought to trial for the crime of "Illegal possession of narcotics".
According to the indictment of the People's Procuracy of Ky Son district at the trial on the morning of May 6, at about 2:00 p.m. on December 15, 2020, Lo Van Nuyp invited Ha Na To to buy drugs for use and To agreed.
Nuyp drove a motorbike with license plate 37K1 - 158.82 carrying To to Xop Nhi village, Huu Lap commune, Ky Son district, and met an unknown man named Tuan. Nuyp and To asked to buy 04 (four) packages of drugs (heroine) from this man for 200,000 VND (two hundred thousand VND). Because he had no money, To used his phone to give to the man named Tuan.
After buying the drugs, To and Nuyp used up 2 packages. To hid the remaining drugs in his pocket and drove the motorbike carrying Nuyp home.

At around 3:30 p.m. the same day, when To Va Nuyp returned to block 4, Muong Xen town, Ky Son district, Nghe An province, he was discovered by the Muong Xen town police working group and caught red-handed, confiscating the above evidence. The amount of drugs seized was determined to be 0.4 grams.
It is known that Ha Na To and Lo Van Nuyp have been close friends since childhood. This is the 5th time To has been brought to trial (previously in 2012, 2015, 2016 and 2017 he was tried by the People's Court of Ky Son district) and Lo Van Nuyp was also tried in 2010 for the crime of "Illegal possession of drugs”.
Considering the nature, severity of the crime as well as the personal background of the defendants, the People's Court sentenced Ha Na To to 06 years in prison and Lo Van Nuyp to 18 months in prison.
