Ky Son district border village celebrates great solidarity day
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 14, Tien Tieu village, Nam Can commune (Ky Son) organized the National Great Unity Festival.
Attending the event were comrades: Le Van Thai - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police; Truong Thiet Hung - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee. On the side of Ky Son district, there were comrades: Vi Hoe - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee; Ly Ba Thai - Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee; along with representatives of departments, mass organizations, and leaders of Nam Can commune.

Tien Tieu village has 201 households, 100% of whom are Mong people. People mainly live on slash-and-burn farming, growing short-term crops and raising livestock and poultry. In recent years, the Tien Tieu village Front Committee has coordinated to effectively implement the Campaign "All people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas"; Propagating to people to promote the fine traditional cultural identity of the nation; maintaining the embroidery and knife-forging profession of the Mong people. In 2022, the village has 32 households recognized as cultural families for 3 consecutive years; 40 households recognized as cultural families for 2 consecutive years.

The whole village mobilized more than 500 working days to build 500m of concrete road. In addition, the people joined the Nam Can International Border Guard Station to patrol the border and landmarks 4 times with 12 participants; effectively maintaining the self-management of the border and landmarks by families. In particular, the Tien Tieu village area is clean of drugs and there is no illegal immigration.

Come join the fungreat unity dayWith the people of Tien Tieu village, comrade Le Van Thai - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police acknowledged, commended and congratulated the efforts and achievements that Tien Tieu village has achieved in the past time, and at the same time shared the difficulties of the people. He hoped that the people would continue to unite to preserve and promote the traditional cultural characteristics of the nation, eliminate backward customs, superstitious activities; constantly help each other develop the economy, eliminate hunger and reduce poverty; actively participate in the movement of the whole people to protect national security; raise the spirit of revolutionary vigilance, fight against false propaganda; Especially continue to maintain a "clean commune from drugs".
On this occasion, the Provincial Police presented 6 gifts, each worth 5 million VND, to households in difficult circumstances; 6 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to 6 villages of Nam Can commune.
