Handing over the boarding house project to students in Tan Ky highland area
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of October 19, Tan Ky District Youth Union held the inauguration ceremony and handed over the canteen to students of Tan Hop Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities. This is a project that shows the love between Tan Ky and Vinh Linh districts (Quang Tri).

The project received the attention and support of the leaders of the two districts, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union, Quang Tri Provincial Youth Union, many units, businesses, philanthropists, cadres and youth union members in Tan Ky district. The total amount of money donated for the project was nearly 500 million VND, of which the District Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Fatherland Front Committee and departments, unions and youth of Vinh Linh district donated 150 million VND, cadres and people of Tan Hop commune donated 150 million VND.
Currently, the project has been officially completed with a total area of 312m2 with the project value up to 800 million VND. The dining room is designed and built solidly, ensuring current construction techniques.

Tan Hop Commune has more than 87% of Tho ethnic people, the rate of poor and near-poor households accounts for 62.01%, belonging to Commune 135 with special difficulties. There are more than 600 primary and secondary school students, of which 250 students with difficult circumstances are considered to be boarding students from Monday to Saturday every week./.
