Handing over breeding pigs to poor households in Thanh Chuong border
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 18, in Thanh Thuy commune, Thanh Chuong, the Provincial Farmers' Association coordinated with the Nghe An Provincial Border Guard Command to hand over breeding pigs to households in the area.
This is the number of breeding pigs granted under Project 3303/QD-UB dated July 15, 2015 of the Provincial People's Committee on building local pig breeding facilities to provide breeding pigs for people in the western border area of the province.
According to the project, Border Guard Stations will provide breeding pigs and technical guidance to people to raise and develop commercial pig herds.

Speaking at the piglet handover ceremony, representatives of the Provincial Farmers' Association and the Border Guard Command congratulated the farmers of Thanh Thuy commune on being selected by the Provincial Farmers' Association and the Border Guard Command to receive piglets this time, hoping that the farmers would take good care of the pigs so that the project could be effective, contributing to hunger eradication, poverty reduction and family economic development.

Previously, in districts such as Ky Son and Tuong Duong, border guards also organized the giving of breeding pigs to people in the area benefiting from the project.
