A business in Nghe An was fined for selling camouflage clothing of unknown origin.
(Baonghean.vn) - Violating e-commerce activities and selling camouflage-colored clothes of unknown origin, a business household in Nghi Loc district was administratively fined by the authorities.
Nghe An Market Management Department said: The unit has just issued a Decision to sanction administrative violations against a business household in its operations.e-commerceand forced to destroy the violating goods, which were 50 sets of camouflage clothing of unknown origin, with a total fine of nearly 30 million VND.

Previously, on July 27, 2023, Market Management Team No. 11 coordinated with functional forces to conduct a surprise inspection of the clothing business owned by Mr. NAT, located in Nghi Lam commune, Nghi Loc district, Nghe An province.
At the time of inspection, Mr. NAT's business was operating an e-commerce website with an online shopping cart to post, manage orders and advertise the establishment's clothing, hiking accessories and travel accessories. Through actual inspection, the inspection team discovered that this e-commerce website had not yet fulfilled its notification obligation to the Ministry of Industry and Trade; Mr. NAT's business was operating as a business household without a Business Registration Certificate as prescribed.
In addition, the inspection team discovered that Mr. NAT's facility was selling 50 sets of camouflage-colored clothes with yellow spots, which are for foresters; all of the above clothes were of unknown origin, bought by Mr. NAT on the market, so there were no documents to prove the legal origin of the goods; they were not declared to be in accordance with Vietnamese standards.
In response to those violations, on August 4, 2023, Market Management Team No. 11 issued a Decision to sanction administrative violations against Mr. NAT, address Nghi Lam commune, Nghi Loc district, Nghe An province, for the following violations: Setting up an e-commerce website to sell goods without fulfilling the obligation to notify the Ministry of Industry and Trade as prescribed; Doing business in the form of a business household without registering to establish a business household; Trading in goods of unknown origin and origin and forcing Mr. NAT to destroy all violating goods as prescribed.
