The Provincial Party Standing Committee approved the content of the 16th Congress of the Fatherland Front of Nghe An province, term 2025 - 2030

The 16th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Nghe An province, term 2025-2030, is scheduled to take place in 2 days (November 20 and 21, 2025). The Draft Political Report identifies the Congress theme:"Enhancing the core political role; promoting the strength of national solidarity; joining hands and contributing to making Nghe An a relatively prosperous province with national growth".

In the spirit of:“Solidarity - Democracy - Breakthrough - Development”,The Congress has the task of comprehensively assessing the situation and results of implementing the Resolution of the 15th Provincial Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front Delegates, term 2024 - 2029.

At the same time, draw lessons, propose directions, goals and specific, practical and effective action programs to contribute to realizing the aspiration for rapid and sustainable development of Nghe An province.

In the 2025-2030 term, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee aims to build the image of a "Front cadre in the digital age" with sufficient qualities, capacity, and prestige, meeting increasingly high requirements and tasks, always accompanying and keeping up with the movement of the times.

The Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee identified digital transformation as a "breakthrough" solution to continue innovating content and methods and comprehensively improving the quality of the Front's activities in an effective and practical direction; clearly forming a "two-way" information channel in propaganda, mobilization, gathering and receiving, listening and responding to opinions and recommendations of all classes of people.

Focus on building residential areas“Self-management, solidarity, prosperity, happiness”associated with the Community Digital Technology Team established by the government; promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc; stepping up campaigns and patriotic emulation movements; performing well the task of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the people.

Promoting democracy, implementing social supervision and criticism, preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity, participating in Party building, building a clean and strong government, contributing to making Nghe An a fairly developed province of the country by 2030, with a fast and sustainable economic development, imbued with the cultural identity of Vietnam and Nghe An.

The draft Political Report sets out 13 specific targets and 6 action programs for the 2025-2030 term with key goals, tasks and main solutions for implementation.

Promote the motto“Focus on the grassroots, listen to the people, act for the people”to gather and promote the strength of the great national unity bloc, contributing to building Nghe An homeland to be increasingly rich, beautiful and civilized.

At the conference, members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee contributed their opinions on the personnel structure; Congress theme; lessons learned; targets for the next term on mobilizing social resources, building typical works or works, digital transformation and orientations, viewpoints on activities and implementation of tasks of the Fatherland Front at all levels in the next term.

Concluding the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duc Trung emphasized that the Provincial Party Standing Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the spirit, responsibility, initiative, seriousness and timeliness of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee in preparing the contents of the organization of the 16th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Nghe An province, term 2025 - 2030.

The Provincial Party Secretary requested the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to fully and seriously absorb the opinions of the members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, review the contents to complete the Draft Political Report in a concise, coherent, highly generalized spirit, accurately reflecting current reality, clarifying the role of the Fatherland Front in implementing the building of great national unity, patriotic emulation movements, closely following the guidance of the Central Government and the reality of the province.

In addition, it is necessary to evaluate and clarify the achieved results; clearly analyze the objective and subjective causes of the existing problems and limitations; and conduct additional research to clarify lessons learned.

Review the goals and targets to ensure feasibility, substance, avoid formality and duplication. Research and consider separating the action program to promote propaganda, mobilization, rally people of all walks of life, strengthen social consensus, and promote the strength of national solidarity into two action programs.

To achieve the goals, targets and action programs, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duc Trung said that the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee needs to inherit the achieved results and promote the highest spirit of solidarity and political determination in leadership and direction.

Continue to innovate and clearly define the comprehensive leadership method of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to build the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in the spirit of streamlining, efficiency, effectiveness and efficiency.

Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duc Trung also requested the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations to pay attention to improving the quality, quantity and capacity of cadres and civil servants to meet the requirements in the new situation.

In the new context, it is necessary to update new requirements, new contents, new directions, new regulations to proactively and effectively implement tasks, contributing to the overall results in implementing the goals and tasks of building and developing the province according to the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress.

In the coming term, the Provincial Party Secretary requested the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to continue to focus on implementing the digital transformation task to ensure substance and effectiveness. The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee must continue to demonstrate its important role in building the great national unity bloc; connecting the Party Committee, the government with all classes of people in the province. Continue to review and rearrange the internal organization of the Provincial Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and organizations at the commune level.

Agreeing on other contents and the time of the 16th Congress of the Fatherland Front of Nghe An province, term 2025-2030 from November 20-21, 2025, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Duc Trung proposed that the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee organize the Congress according to the viewpoint of practicing thrift and fighting waste.

During the period from now until the Congress, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee will continue to promote propaganda work, organize activities and movements to create an exciting atmosphere in the whole society.
