The 2016 Lotus Village Festival Organizing Committee offers flowers at Ho Chi Minh Square.
(Baonghean.vn) – On the afternoon of May 17, at Ho Chi Minh Square (Vinh City), the Organizing Committee of the 2016 Lotus Village Festival held a flower offering ceremony in front of Uncle Ho's Statue.
Attending the ceremony were representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Provincial Cultural and Sports Center, actors and athletes of mass art troupes, Cultural and Sports Centers of districts, cities and towns, and a large number of people.

Offering a basket of fresh flowers to the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh, the delegation expressed their respect and infinite gratitude for the immense contributions of President Ho Chi Minh - the genius leader of our Party and people.
The delegation reported to Uncle Ho on the rich activities of the Sen Village Festival, celebrating the 126th anniversary of his birthday. After decades of organization, the 2016 Sen Village Festival continues to receive the attention and care of all levels and sectors, especially the efforts of districts and cities throughout the province.
The districts have proactively developed plans and organized well cultural, artistic and sports activities, which have been widely responded and participated in with high artistic quality. With the meaning of "Honoring President Ho Chi Minh, honoring Sen village culture, praising the Party, Nghe An homeland integration and development", the 2016 Sen Village Festival has truly become a festival for all people.
