The Central Organizing Committee announced the decision to approve the position of Secretary of Hau Giang Provincial Party Committee.

This morning, the working delegation of the Central Organizing Committee led by Mr. Pham Minh Chinh, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organizing Committee, had a working session with key officials of Hau Giang province to announce the Politburo's Decision on approving the position of Secretary of the Hau Giang Provincial Party Committee for the 2015-2020 term for Mr. Lu Van Hung.

At the announcement of the Politburo's decision, Head of the Central Organizing Committee Pham Minh Chinh emphasized: During his past working journey, no matter what position he held, Mr. Lu Van Hung always strived and made every effort to successfully complete the assigned tasks.

During his work in the military as well as in the locality, Mr. Lu Van Hung always showed his will and determination, not faltering in the face of difficulties and challenges; was a cadre with pure moral qualities, modesty, simplicity, closeness to the people; was an exemplary party member, a nucleus playing a central role in solidarity in the agencies where he worked; was a person with full capacity to undertake the positions assigned by the Party and the State.

Head of the Central Organizing Committee Pham Minh Chinh believes that in his new position, Mr. Lu Van Hung will continue to promote his fine traditions, political mettle and moral qualities, and excellently fulfill the tasks assigned by the Party and the people.

Hau Giang Provincial Party Secretary Lu Van Hung said: I will make every effort, constantly improve my political qualities, maintain my moral qualities, a pure and exemplary lifestyle, and work with the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, and the Provincial Party Executive Committee to promote the spirit of solidarity and unity, overcome all difficulties and challenges to develop the province and successfully implement the goals set out in the Resolution of the 13th Provincial Party Congress.

Previously, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission Pham Minh Chinh also worked with the Standing Committee of Hau Giang Provincial Party Committee on the socio-economic situation, security-defense and Party building work of the province in 2017.

Appreciating the results that Hau Giang achieved in the past year, Mr. Pham Minh Chinh suggested that in the coming time, the locality should continue to pay attention to developing infrastructure, especially in terms of transportation; strengthen training of high-quality human resources. Regarding Party building work, continue to well implement Resolution 4 of the Central Committee (11th tenure), Resolution 4 of the Central Committee (12th tenure) and in-depth implementation of Resolution 6 of the Central Committee (12th tenure) to strengthen Party building and rectification. In addition, it is necessary to effectively carry out the work of streamlining payroll and administrative reform in accordance with the direction of the Central Committee.
