Central Organizing Committee directly recruits 10 excellent students
For the first time, the Central Organizing Committee recruited civil servants through reviewing academic results, research and interviewing candidates.
The Central Organizing Committee has just signed a notice on attracting and creating a source of staff from excellent university graduates and young scientists to this agency.

Accordingly, candidates who want to apply must meet all the requirements including graduating from university and having excellent academic results; and not being over 30 years old.
According to the announcement, candidates must meet one of the following criteria: Winning a prize at the provincial-level Excellent Student Competition (from Third Prize), national-level (from Encouragement Prize) or a Certificate of Merit or higher in the International Excellent Student Competition; winning a third prize or higher in the national or international Science and Technology Competition; winning a third prize or higher in the individual Olympic competition in one of the following subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Mechanics, Informatics or other majors during university time.
Mr. Duong Minh Duc - Head of the Department of Organization and Personnel (Central Organization Committee) said that this is the first time this agency has created a source of cadres according to the above content.
The number of civil servants that the Central Organizing Committee needs to recruit is 10 people. After being recruited, candidates will work in departments, bureaus, and units of the Central Organizing Committee with the main tasks being Party building, organization, and personnel; human resource management and development; international cooperation on human resource development; scientific research on organization, personnel, etc.
"We hope that, with the starting point of being excellent people, being nurtured and trained after recruitment, young people will become civil servants with good expertise and contribute much to the work of organizing and building the Party," said Mr. Duc.
According to him, the staff at the Central Organizing Committee comes from many sources and outstanding young people are one of those sources; in addition, there are also experienced staff from ministries, branches and localities who are mobilized and transferred.
"We spend 1 month receiving applications, then will do the recruitment process and interview candidates in July," said Mr. Duc.
Candidates send their application documents by post to the Department of Organization and Personnel, Central Organization Committee from May 10 to June 10. The Central Organization Committee will consider the candidates through reviewing their academic and research results (if any). After that, candidates who meet the requirements and standards for academic results will be interviewed about their capacity, professional qualifications and skills. The interview score is calculated on a 100-point scale.
Candidates who pass the civil service recruitment exam must have an interview score of 50 points or higher; those with higher recruitment results will be selected in descending order within the recruitment quota; and have results of examination and verification of political standards and background that meet regulations.
