Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department deploys work tasks for 2023

In 2022, the world situation has complicated developments; epidemics, natural disasters, storms and floods occur in the area; science and technology develop rapidly, especially social networks with many multi-dimensional information affecting public opinion. In that context, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department focuses on overcoming difficulties, closely following the leadership and direction of the Central Propaganda Department and the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee, proactively, actively, unitedly striving to complete all assigned political tasks, contributing to creating consensus and solidarity among the people, ensuring political security, creating a favorable environment for socio-economic development.

The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department has achieved outstanding results such as: Advising the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to issue and implement 4 projects, 01 Plan to implement the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress, the 13th National Party Congress; directing and guiding the preliminary and final review of 17 Party directives and resolutions.

Completed 108/109 tasks to ensure the set progress; excellently completed the extraordinary tasks assigned by the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, typically: National Conference to review propaganda work in the first 6 months of the year in Nghe An; Scientific conference to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Plain of Jars - Xieng Khouang defense campaign (1972-2022); Scientific conference: "Comrade Le Hong Phong - a steadfast communist soldier, an outstanding leader of the Party and the Vietnamese revolution"... During the year, the Committee advised the Party Committee to issue many documents to lead, direct and guide local levels and branches to implement the Party's resolutions and directives in all areas of propaganda work; issued 446 documents directing and guiding the implementation of tasks in the field of propaganda.

The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department regularly coordinates with the Provincial People's Council Party Delegation and the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee to effectively advise on ideological issues in law enforcement, implementation of socio-economic development plans, major policies, key projects; in solving outstanding issues of public concern. The Propaganda Department has proposed many solutions to enhance forecasting of complex issues occurring in the area in order to have appropriate approaches and solutions to the reality at each time; diversifying forms of communication, spreading positive information to cadres, party members and people.

In 2022, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department compiled 77 issues raised by the press. Advised and issued 68 documents directing the handling of 68 issues raised by the press. To date, 68/68 contents have been handled; there is no backlog in handling the press. Thanks to that, many hot and sensitive issues have been quickly and promptly oriented, creating high consensus among the people.

In implementing the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in 2022, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department has advised on the development and implementation of a special topic on cadres and cadre work, publishing 11,000 copies to 1,423 grassroots Party organizations and 8,403 affiliated Party cells in the whole province. In conjunction with building a model of studying and following Uncle Ho, up to now, the whole province has built more than 180 administrative reform models at the commune-level police (implementing the first pilot model nationwide); nearly 500 models of skillful mass mobilization and administrative reform at provincial and district-level administrative units.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Huong praised the spirit of solidarity, collaboration, and efforts to excellently complete the assigned tasks of the cadres and specialists of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department. Deploying the tasks of 2023, she requested that each cadre and civil servant of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department always proactively advise on assigned tasks; diversify forms of communication; apply scientific and technological advances, Internet media, social networks Facebook, Zalo and other forms of propaganda to improve the effectiveness and timeliness of propaganda work, spreading positive information to cadres, party members and people.

At the same time, advise the Party Committee to lead and direct all areas of propaganda work to ensure quality and progress. Innovate the content, form and methods of propaganda work; "choose" work with focus and key points, suitable for each stage, time and new situation; strengthen political and ideological education; further promote the role of press, publishing, culture and arts to serve the political tasks of the locality and improve the spiritual life of the people. Proactively advise on mid-term assessment of the implementation of the Resolution of the Party Congress at all levels in the field of Propaganda. At the same time, take care of training the grassroots propaganda team with qualities, mettle, knowledge and skills to meet the requirements of the Party's propaganda tasks in the new situation.
