PROACTIVE, SENSITIVE, CREATIVE IN WORK

The conference unanimously assessed that, in the context of many difficulties, challenges, impacts and influences on propaganda work, with the strong direction and attention of the Central Committee, directly the Politburo, the Secretariat and Party committees at all levels, the coordination and support of sectors and levels, the solidarity, responsibility and efforts of those working in propaganda work, the whole sector has been proactive, sensitive, flexible, creative, actively innovating the content and methods of operation, successfully completing the assigned tasks with many new points.

Notably, the leadership of the Central Propaganda Department has resolutely directed the entire sector to innovate the content and methods of propaganda work with the spirit of: determination, urgency, seriousness, high responsibility, focus, breakthrough; promptly remove difficulties, obstacles, and bottlenecks to improve the quality and effectiveness of work, affirm the role and position of the Propaganda sector; focus on implementing the development of 14 projects, summarizing and concluding resolutions, directives, and conclusions of the Central Executive Committee, Politburo, and Secretariat.

The Central Propaganda Department has organized 15 working delegations to work, inspect and survey localities; the Propaganda Departments of many localities have also organized working trips and surveys at the grassroots level to strengthen close contact with the grassroots level and grasp the reality; successfully organized many major activities and events; advised the Party Committee to strengthen leadership, direction and orientation of propaganda work, press - publishing, foreign information, culture - arts, grasp the ideological situation, public opinion, fight against refuting incorrect and hostile information and viewpoints surrounding major political issues and events of the Party and the country...

The conference also frankly pointed out a number of limitations, difficulties and causes of limitations so that localities and units seriously review their responsibilities; resolutely overcome them soon and complete their tasks well in the last 6 months of the year.

Delegates also listened to a summary report on the implementation of the organization of the propaganda department of provincial and municipal party committees according to Regulation No. 04-Qdi/TW, dated July 25, 2018 of the Secretariat on the functions, tasks, powers, and organization of the specialized agency advising and assisting provincial and municipal party committees. With a spirit of democracy, seriousness, and responsibility, the conference spent time listening to delegates discuss and contribute opinions to the reports.

THE PROPAGANDA SECTOR HAS MANY POSITIVE AND OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTIONS

In his welcoming speech, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Nghe An Provincial Party Secretary Thai Thanh Quy informed some basic features of the province's socio-economic characteristics and situation, especially in 2021 and the first 6 months of 2022. Accordingly, in 2021, despite facing many difficulties due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the province's economic growth rate still reached 6.2%; in the first 6 months of 2022 alone, it is estimated to reach 8.44%.

Budget revenue in 2021 reached nearly 19,500 billion VND, exceeding the estimate by 38%, and in the first 6 months of 2022, nearly 11,000 billion VND was achieved, reaching over 70% of the plan. Culture and society have many bright spots, especially in the fields of health, education, and new rural construction.

Social security, material and spiritual life of the people are concerned and increasingly improved. National defense, security, social order and safety are ensured. Party building and political system building are given comprehensive attention in all aspects.

Provincial Party Secretary Thai Thanh Quy emphasized: The above results, in addition to the important support of the Central Government, the solidarity and efforts of the entire Party Committee and the People, the Propaganda Department and the propaganda work of the province have made positive and outstanding contributions; especially in the fierce and dangerous moments of the Covid-19 pandemic over the past 2 years.

“Propaganda activities have also contributed to making the Party's will and the people's hearts in sync, many major decisions and policies of the Party, the State and the province have been clearly understood, trusted, supported and enthusiastically implemented by cadres, party members and people; have been and are further stimulating the desire for development, making Nghe An a fairly developed province in the Northern region by 2025, a fairly developed province in the whole country by 2030”, said comrade Thai Thanh Quy.

The head of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee affirmed: The national conference to review propaganda work is an opportunity for the province to listen to and learn more experiences and good and effective practices from other units. This is also an opportunity for Nghe An to learn, consult, exchange information, connect, receive support and guidance from delegates of the Central Propaganda Department, central agencies, ministries, branches, provincial and municipal Party Committees; thereby better implementing the political tasks and development goals of the province.

On this occasion, on behalf of the leaders of Nghe An province, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Thai Thanh Quy sincerely thanked the Central Propaganda Department and other central ministries and branches for their attention, guidance and support for Nghe An in the past time. He also thanked the attention and coordination of other provinces that have had many cooperation programs, media connections, and mutual development.

MUST ALWAYS HAVE WILL, DESIRE, "HOT HEART"

Speaking at the conclusion of the conference, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department acknowledged, praised and highly appreciated the efforts, attempts and outstanding results that the Propaganda sector has achieved in the past time, and emphasized a number of key tasks for the last 6 months of the year.

Accordingly, in the context of the rapidly changing, complex and unpredictable world situation, the entire industry needs to regularly pay attention to making accurate and correct forecasts to effectively translate them into practical actions; at the same time, continue to thoroughly grasp the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party, closely linked with grasping the content of the Central Committee's conferences to concretize the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party and the speeches of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

Accordingly, all theoretical and practical issues and visions for the country until 2030 and 2045 must be thoroughly grasped regularly and continuously; at the same time, it is necessary to clarify new core issues in the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.

Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia also requested the whole sector to continue to concretize cultural viewpoints at the National Cultural Conference held on November 24, 2021; deploy the development of summary projects related to the fields of science and technology; education and training; Party building work in terms of ideology, ethics, and politics; pay special attention to and affirm the role of propaganda work in the content of summarizing 10 years of the Fatherland Protection Strategy; well implement the Project to celebrate major holidays in the years 2023 to 2025.

The Head of the Central Propaganda Department emphasized that the very important task of the entire sector is to focus on building the Party in terms of politics, ideology, and ethics; strengthen the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints; synchronously and effectively deploy press, publishing, culture, arts, and foreign information work; continue to innovate, improve the quality and effectiveness of consultation and the role and position of science and education work.

Along with that, continue to advise the Party Committee to lead, direct and effectively organize the implementation of Decision No. 238-QD/TW dated September 30, 2020 of the Central Party Secretariat (12th tenure) on "Regulations on coordination between the Propaganda Department at all levels and State agencies at the same level in law enforcement, implementing socio-economic development plans, resolving outstanding issues of public concern"; well perform the work of organizing the apparatus; create breakthroughs in applying science and technology to work;...

Before concluding his speech, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia sent a message to the leadership team and cadres of the entire Propaganda sector that they must always be full of aspiration and will, always have a "warm heart" to boldly advise and boldly carry out in order to successfully deploy the assigned tasks.
