(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 14, the Provincial Youth Union organized a training course on congress work at all levels for Vinh City Youth Union branches through the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Congress of Truong Thi Ward.

Attending the event were comrade Nguyen Thi Thom - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union; Chu Duc Thai - Head of the Provincial Youth Union's Organization and Inspection Department. Representatives of some departments and branches of Vinh City; Youth Union Secretary, representatives of the People's Committee of 25 wards and communes and representatives of Youth Union branches of agencies and units in Vinh City.

During the 2012 - 2017 term, Truong Thi Ward Youth Union has done a good job of propaganda and education for youth union members according to the assigned orientation and tasks, including education on political ideology, lifestyle ethics, revolutionary traditions and legal awareness...

The ward currently has 22 youth union branches with 508 youth union members; of which 80% of the branches are strong, 20% are good. During the term, 8 sympathy classes were organized, 69 members were admitted; 52 outstanding members were introduced to the Party and 41 members were admitted to the Party.

At the same time, the congress also received many suggestions from the branches to improve the effectiveness of the union's work, in which solutions to improve the quality of branch activities received much attention from delegates.

Commenting on the organization of the congress of Truong Thi ward union, thereby drawing experience for other units, comrade Chu Duc Thai said that the congress of the union needs to create a bustling atmosphere, follow the instructions of superiors to prepare congress documents and run the congress smoothly and scientifically.

He also noted that political reports need to be more specific and based on local realities so that readers can see the outstanding characteristics of their local units. Individuals who speak should speak naturally, creating a friendly atmosphere to attract the attention of delegates.

Through the Congress of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Truong Thi Ward, speaking at the meeting to review experiences after the Congress, comrade Chu Duc Thai guided and trained the work of organizing the congress for 25 ward and commune youth union units in the city, including 8 new regulations that need to be noted and implemented.

The ward and commune Youth Union secretaries and related units attending the meeting also raised concerns and answered questions to gain experience in preparing for the grassroots Youth Union congress to achieve good results and in accordance with regulations.

Previously, in addition to the achievements, the congress also pointed out the limitations and shortcomings that need to be overcome in the new term, such as: there are not many new attractive models; awareness and direction of some contents of the movements "Stimulating socio-economic development and protecting the Fatherland", "Accompanying young people to establish their careers" are low in efficiency, there are no solutions for implementation so the efficiency is not high; some union officials are still limited in capacity, not enthusiastic about the work...
