Dai-ichi Life Insurance Vietnam pays more than 680 million VND to customers

The total payment of 681.1 million VND was paid to 2 cases, in which Mr. Cao Tu's family in Hamlet 4, Dien An Commune was paid 560.1 million VND in death benefits and Ms. Hoang Thi Thom's family in Hamlet 2, Dien An Commune (Dien Chau) was paid 121 million VND in insurance benefits due to critical illness.

At the ceremony, after announcing the decision to pay compensation to the subjects, Mr. Tran Trung Chinh - Sales Director of North Central Region 2, representative of Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company Vietnam sent the company's sincere condolences and encouragement to the families of customers who were unfortunately at risk. The amount of money paid by the company to the families is a demonstration of the company's commitment to customers, hoping to support and compensate the families to overcome difficulties and rise up in life.

Ms. Hoang Thi Thom is a customer of Dai-ichi Life Insurance who has participated in 2 contracts, including 1 contract for her child since 2014 with a premium of 6 million VND/year and her husband 15 million VND/year, participating since 2018; In the case of Mr. Cao Tu, he just participated in Dai-ichi Life Insurance in 2019 with a premium of 15 million VND/year.

On the occasion of paying insurance benefits to customers, Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company Vietnam, Dien Chau Office organized a seminar to introduce financial solutions and the meaning and benefits of customers and people when participating in life insurance products in general and Dai-ichi Life Insurance in particular.

As of 2019, Dai-ichi continues to be one of the leading enterprises in terms of life insurance premium revenue. With 13 years of accompanying and being attached to the Vietnamese life insurance market, the company has always received the attention of the Party, the State and ministries, departments and branches. In 2019, Dai-ichi paid more than 100,000 cases with a total amount of more than 1,300 billion VND. In addition to efforts in business management and accompanying customers, last year, the company achieved a profit of more than 1,000 billion VND and was 1 of 4 enterprises with the best capitalization, especially the best market share in Vietnam among 18 enterprises, accounting for 13% of the market share of the entire insurance industry.

Entering 2020, despite being affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, the company still maintained its business pace with a growth rate of 20% in total fee revenue, equivalent to VND 2,000 billion after 4 months.
