Vietnam Social Security launches campaign to support people affected by storm No. 3
In the spirit of mutual love of the Vietnamese people; responding to the call of General Secretary, President To Lam, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, in Hanoi, General Director of Vietnam Social Security Nguyen The Manh launched a campaign for the entire industry to support people affected by storm No. 3 (Yagi).
The launching ceremony took place on the morning of September 10. General Director Nguyen The Manh called on all cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers in the entire industry with all their affection, responsibility, and compassion to join hands in donating and supporting materially and spiritually to help people in flood-hit areas to soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

Responding to the launching ceremony of Vietnam Social Security, General Director Nguyen The Manh, Vice Chairman of the Social Security Management Board Nguyen Van Cuong, Deputy General Directors, leaders of affiliated units and a large number of civil servants, public employees and workers directly donated with the desire to share and help people overcome difficulties.
Speaking at the ceremony, General Director Nguyen The Manh expressed his deep sympathy with the people affected and damaged by storm No. 3. Based on closely monitoring the storm and flood situation, Vietnam Social Security has organized urgent meetings, directing the Social Security of provinces and cities to deploy flexible response solutions, focusing on ensuring the social insurance and health insurance benefits of people in all situations, with the spirit of reforming administrative procedures as quickly and easily as possible.

General Director Nguyen The Manh assessed that in recent days, storm No. 3 has been complicated, greatly affecting people's lives and activities. However, the professional work of the Industry has been carried out fully and seriously; localities have implemented many solutions to support people and businesses, ensuring uninterrupted enjoyment of benefits and policies of Social Insurance, Health Insurance, and Unemployment Insurance.
To continue ensuring the rights of participants in Social Insurance, Health Insurance, and Unemployment Insurance after Typhoon Yagi, Vietnam Social Security continues to direct Social Insurance agencies at all levels, especially Directors of Social Insurance in provinces, cities, and districts to closely coordinate with medical facilities, assign staff on duty at medical examination and treatment facilities to immediately resolve difficulties and problems; absolutely do not let people not receive medical examination, treatment, or health care due to disruptions in transportation, infrastructure, and facilities after storms and floods; have flexible plans to ensure adequate medicine and medical supplies for medical examination and treatment for people... Fully and promptly advance funds for medical examination and treatment under Health Insurance to medical examination and treatment facilities, ensuring smooth medical examination and treatment under Health Insurance, absolutely do not let medical examination and treatment facilities lack funds for medical examination and treatment under Health Insurance.

“Let’s spread the spirit of sharing and helping people affected by storms and floods throughout the industry and spread it strongly to the community. Each officer of the Social Insurance agency continues to mobilize families, villages, hamlets… to join hands to share with people in storm and flood areas,” the General Director emphasized.
From the money directly donated at the Launching Ceremony, in the afternoon of the same day, at the ceremony to present the Fund to support people affected by storm No. 3 of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Deputy General Director Dao Viet Anh, on behalf of the Vietnam Social Security sector, attended and presented 350 million VND to join hands to help people in the storm and flood areas to quickly overcome the consequences of natural disasters./.
