Vietnam Social Security pilots reissuing passwords for VssID application - Digital Social Insurance via hotline

Vietnam Social Security is piloting the integration of a virtual assistant into Vietnam Social Security's Customer Care Center 1900.9068 to support people in re-issuing their VssID account passwords.

Accordingly, to reset the password via Virtual Assistant on Call Center 1900.9068, users can do the following:

Step 1:Use the phone number registered for the VssID account to call the switchboard 1900.9068, press number 8 to select the function to reset the VssID password and follow the instructions.

Step 2:The virtual assistant asks you to provide a code.Social insuranceneed to retrieve the password. After you provide the Social Security number, the system will check the phone number you are calling and the Social Security number. If it matches the data managed by the Vietnam Social Security, the Virtual Assistant will read the new password to you (the new password will be repeated once for you to remember). If it does not match, the virtual assistant will notify "the phone number and the social security number do not match or have not been registered with the Social Security agency".

Step 3:End call.

* Note: The fee for calling the switchboard 1900.9068 is 1,000 VND/minute, this fee is paid to the switchboard service provider.

Thus, currently, VssID users can reset their password in 2 ways:

1 - Use the Forgot Password function on the VssID application or the Forgot Password function on the page https://dichvucong.baohiemxahoi.gov.vn (this method requires the VssID account to have an email address);

In case when registering for an electronic Social Insurance transaction account, people do not have information about their email address, they can add their email address through the following channels:

+ Make a declaration form TK1-TS to declare additional email information through the electronic Social Insurance transaction of the service collection unit or organization under management.

+ Make a declaration to change or supplement information to register for using electronic transactions in the field of Social Insurance according to Form No. 02/SD-GD, and submit it directly to the nearest Social Insurance agency.

2 - Re-issue password via Virtual Assistant on Call Center 1900.9068 (extension 8).

The pilot implementation of integrating Virtual Assistant into the Customer Care Call Center of Vietnam Social Security to support users of the VssID application in re-issuing passwords demonstrates the desire to provide more and more features and utilities, creating convenience for people when participating in transactions with the Social Security agency, contributing to building a modern and professional Vietnam Social Security industry, for the satisfaction of organizations and individuals./.
