Nghe An Newspaper and philanthropists support people in the Covid-19 epidemic area of Chieu Luu commune (Ky Son)
(Baonghean.vn) - Early morning on July 23, Nghe An Newspaper's working group brought nearly 9 tons of essential goods such as rice, peanuts, fish sauce, and masks to support people in the Covid-19 epidemic area in La Ngan and Luu Tien villages, Chieu Luu commune (Ky Son district).

On July 17, at the villageLa Ngan, Chieu Luu commune (Ky Son) had 2 cases of Covid 19 infection in the same household (mother-in-law and daughter-in-law). After that, Luu Tien village (Chieu Luu commune) also had cases. To prevent and control the epidemic, immediately after that, the Provincial People's Committee decided to establish a medical isolation area for La Ngan and Luu Tien villages. After 4 days, in the area of La Ngan and Luu Tien villages, there were 9 cases; at the same time, there were 129 cases of F1, 259 cases of F2 (La Ngan village had 6 F0, 74 F1, 132 F2; Luu Tien village had 3 F0, 55 F1, 127 F2). Similar to the villageCham PuongIn Tuong Duong district, La Ngan and Luu Tien villages are extremely poor. La Ngan village has 148 households, 756 people, 100% of whom are Khmu; of which 80% are poor or near-poor. In Luu Tien village, there are 162 households, 870 people, nearly 60% of whom are poor.
