Nghe An Newspaper gives savings books to orphans in Tan Ky

(Baonghean.vn) - On January 17, comrade Tran Huu Nghia - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper presented a savings book worth 5 million VND to Lo Thi Oanh, an orphan who has no father and is currently studying in grade 6 in Nghia Thai commune (Tan Ky).

Also attending were representatives of the Propaganda Department of Tan Ky District Party Committee and leaders of Nghia Thai commune.

This amount is taken from the royalty fund of comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Member of the Party Central Committee, former Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee - currently State Auditor General.

Immediately after reading the article "The pitiful situation of a child without a father and mother" published on August 9, 2016 on baonghean.vn by author Kim Oanh (Provincial Red Cross Association) about the situation of Lo Thi Oanh, without a father, without a mother, currently being taken care of by her uncle, living an extremely difficult life, comrade Ho Duc Phoc decided to withdraw 5 million VND from the royalties fund of Nghe An Newspaper to buy a savings book to give to Lo Thi Oanh with the desire to share the pain, encourage her to overcome difficulties, strive to study well and become a useful citizen for society.
