Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television won B prize, Press and Propaganda Award on economical and efficient use of energy in 2025

Attending the award ceremony were representatives of leaders of central ministries, departments and branches; members of the Organizing Committee, the Jury Council and many leaders and reporters of central and local press agencies.

The Press Award for Propaganda on Economical and Efficient Energy Use is one of the communication activities within the framework of the National Program on Economical and Efficient Energy Use for the period 2019 - 2030.

The award aims to raise awareness and responsibility of the community in using energy economically and efficiently, and at the same time honor outstanding authors and press works on using energy economically and efficiently at the central and local levels.

This is the 14th year the award has been held nationwide. Following the success of previous seasons, the 2025 Energy Efficiency and Conservation Press Award continues to receive the participation of many press agencies at the central and local levels.

The Organizing Committee received more than 600 works and groups of works from authors and groups of authors in many journalism categories including: Reflective articles, interviews, discussions, comments, monographs, reports, investigative reports, journalistic essays in print, radio, television, and electronic newspapers...

Many works are creative and innovative with practical energy saving solutions. According to the Jury, the works vividly convey the Party and State's policies on promoting the use of energy economically and efficiently, discovering and spreading pioneering initiatives and typical models of energy saving. Thereby, contributing to creating trends and promoting important changes in society.

Speaking at the award ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Long - Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade emphasized: 2025 marks an important stage in Vietnam's sustainable development process, with the message "Green transition - Green future". This is not only a strategic orientation but also our strong commitment to using energy efficiently, reducing emissions and promoting a green economy. To realize this goal, the press and media play a pioneering role in spreading messages, orienting awareness and promoting action throughout society.

The Jury has evaluated and selected 40 excellent works to award prizes. Among them, there is 1 special prize, 4 A prizes, 10 B prizes, 10 C prizes, 15 Encouragement prizes. Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television continue to achieve excellent results with the television report "Energy audit, the key to reducing production costs" by the group of authors: Nguyen Thi Kim Hoa, Nguyen Manh Thuan, Tran Ngoc Son, Nguyen Le Long, Le Thi Thuy Linh./.
