Barca "vented anger" on Deportivo
Coach Luis Enrique's team just ended a four-match winless streak in La Liga by defeating Deportivo with a score that was better than a tennis set.

Visiting Deportivo's Riazor Stadium in round 34, Barca played a truly remarkable game compared to a draw and three consecutive defeats before. After beautiful and precise coordination as usual, Messi and his teammates scored eight goals in a row against the home team, including four goals by Luis Suarez. Rakitic, Messi, Neymar and even center-back Marc Bartra were also on the scorer's list, thereby helping Barca revive their hopes of defending the championship.
With the victory at Riazor Stadium, Barca continued to lead La Liga after 34 rounds with 79 points. Atletico Madrid, who beat Bilbao 1-0 in the same round, once again ranked second due to equal points but inferior head-to-head record.
As predicted by experts before the match, the Catalan team pushed aside the pressure to aim for victory. Along with the change in spirit was the return of high form of the trio Messi, Suarez, Neymar. Continuously coordinating well and accurately from the first minutes, Barca's attack quickly bankrupted Deportivo's defensive counter-attacking plan. Not only that, the number of goals also increased continuously through each sharp attack and only stopped when it reached eight.
Of all his teammates on the pitch, Suarez was truly the player who played the most sublime. After a series of consecutive matches without scoring in La Liga, the Barca striker wearing the number 9 shirt revived with a poker against Deportivo. These four goals all came from a familiar finishing style: fast, mostly one-touch shots and the ball flew right into the opponent's goalkeeper's hands. In addition to the impressive series of goals, Suarez also shone with two passes like set pieces for Rakitic and Messi to score.

Suarez's return to form also means Barca's crisis ends. |
Messi did not play as well as his Uruguayan teammate, but he also played an important role in connecting the team. Of Suarez's four goals, M10 contributed greatly with two direct assists and one indirect assist. Sometimes the best player in the world in 2015 felt like he was playing in an attacking midfielder role, not a striker who had just scored 500 goals in his career. This change shows that Messi may be fully adapting to a new, highly team-oriented role, instead of continuing to race for the top scorer title like many previous seasons.
In terms of chances, Deportivo also created quite a few in front of Barca's goal. The problem for the home team was their poor finishing. The score could have even been 1-1 in the first half if Deportivo had taken advantage of two consecutive one-on-one opportunities with goalkeeper Bravo.
The fact that the opponent repeatedly threatened the goal also showed that Barca's defense has not really improved compared to previous matches. Replacing Pique in the role of center back, Marc Bartra only impressed with his breakthrough goals, not his defensive ability. Jordi Alba and Mascherano also had many situations of lacking concentration.

Goalkeeper Bravo still had to save in the match that Barca won big. |
In terms of enjoyment, Bartra's goal might have been the best of the match. The center-back surprised viewers by dribbling solo from midfield, beating three Deportivo players and then shooting diagonally to score like Messi years ago. Meanwhile, the remaining seven goals were all the result of simple combinations that emphasized efficiency.
Losing to Barca at home, Deportivo continues to be ranked 14th with 38 points. However, this team is not too worried about the risk of relegation because it is eight points ahead of the bottom three teams.
