Arrested 2 foreigners carrying 1 kg of crystal meth into Nghe An for consumption

On July 15, Vinh City Police said that the unit had just broken up a case and arrested two subjects for the act.illegal drug trafficking, seized 1kg of crystal meth.

Accordingly, at around 7:00 p.m. on July 13, in Ha Huy Tap ward, Vinh city, Vinh city police presided over and coordinated with the provincial police's professional departments to successfully break up a case, arresting two foreigners for illegal drug trafficking.

Seized evidence includes: 1 kg of crystal meth, 1 car, 2 cell phones.

The two arrested subjects are Chong Song, born in 1991, and Cong Ky Giang, born in 1999, both residing in Kham Cot district, Bo Likhamxay province, Lao People's Democratic Republic.

These two subjects regularly entered Vietnam through Cau Treo - Ha Tinh border gate, then went to Vinh city, Nghe An to meet and connect with local subjects to illegally buy and sell drugs.

Currently, Vinh City Police are urgently completing documents and procedures to transfer to the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department for further handling according to the provisions of law.
